Great food and value. I have done take out and dined in. The seafood is very fresh so you can enjoy the real flavors without a fishy taste.
Fisherman's platter was excellent and not all French fries like so many other places.
Baked haddock was also excellent with a light crumb topping . . . not heavy.
The food is excellent, service is great and the overall experience is very pleasant - as an elderly friend said - I could come here alone and feel fine - it is worth visiting.
We've been to The Q twice since Sean purchased it and I think next time I'm throwing the diet out the window!
The baked scallops I had were fabulous, but the gigantic plate of fried seafood and onion rings that went by me that could've fed my family of five looked soooooo good I have to try it!
You may have some new regulars on your hands Sean!!

My wife and I came into Lobster Q for my Birthday Dinner. Besides the great service and a fine meal, we loved the idea that you took the time to come over to our table to say "Hello", make some suggestions and bring us something to sample.
We sampled your macaroni and cheese, it was very good. I sampled my wife's corn bread (Oh so good!). It was the most moist corn bread I have ever tasted! Had to try your home made apple sauce.... Excellent. I had your Fisherman's Platter. The platter was very good and had so much food I just could not finish it all.
We will be back and will highly recommend Lobster Q to our friends!

We just left the restaurant and it was great as usual, Sean is a perfect example of what an owner should be. He is always visible and as usual always concerned that you are pleased with everything.
We started with steamers which were great. I had the Tridents Grilled Combo, swordfish, shrimp and scallops... cajon style, it was fantastic. Deb had baked haddock and she thought it was perfectly cooked. we have been there many times and it seems that it always gets better.

My sister treated the whole family as my birthday gift, and I have to be honest...I did not know what to expect.
I was amazed at how the group of twelve of us each found something we loved. The young adults were appreciative of how you took the time to share the various sauces (especially the "Bold & Sassy"!) they were allowed to sample.
Speaking for myself; I haven't had a fried clam dinner that good in years!!!
We tried your Hot BBQ tenders, Pulled Pork, Huge Ribs....Not a single disappointment.

This Food Is Good!
I had visited the restaurant's personal website as well through a link at this site and that was very helpful. I learned that they were under new management and that they were working to produce a distinctive dining experience.
The owner was very friendly visiting our table and that of other guests regularly. Clearly interested in developing good relationships. I was really impressed that he brought us a sample of a new dish they had developed. In this case, the chile. Really, really good and my kids enjoyed trying it.
My kids enjoyed the lobster bisque a lot and I had some of the best clam chowder I have had in quite a while, so kudos there.
The brownie sundae my son got was huge. Probably should be a bit smaller. The Key lime pie was FANTASTIC!! We really liked that.
Overall, when we are in the area again, we will definately return. A good time all around and my kids want to go back!
We had a really good time and my two sons who are lobster fanatics were very satisfied.
We are from York, PA and visited the Q last night because of Restaurant.Com. HOWEVER, I would come back to this place -- even without the discount.
Fabulous food, reasonable prices, excellent quantity, quality outstanding -- and an owner that cares about you. What a refreshing change of pace.
I will be recommending this to all of my friends who may travel North. If I could give this 10 stars I would!
Went to the Highland Games with friends yesterday and ended our day at LobsterQ.
This was our friends first visit but certainly not their last. They said the scallops were the best they have ever had and cooked to perfection.
Once again, the food and service were great.

Lobster Q was a bit of a trip from our home, and we did not even know it existed until we received the dining email.
We were pleased that we made the trip, and enjoyed the food. We will most likely go back - the value was hard to beat.
Second visit since the ownership change and we weren't dissappointed again.

The Fisherman's Dinner was even too much for the 2 of us to share...great portion sizes...............LOVED the Crab Cakes..........and I NEVER thought I'd drink gingerale in my beer...........believe it or not.....YUMMY!

Now lets talk about the bbq sauce sample you gave us last night! I have a better name for your Carolina Lava-...-you should call it Carolina Lava Holy S**T Sauce!!! WOW! Loved the other two, but that one stayed with me all night!!!
We went to the Q last night. I didn't know the owners name when we went in, but he made it a point to go to each table and introduce himself and see how our evening was.
Sean you are a class act. It is was delicious, the best Seafood I have ever had. Bree or Brie(don't know the spelling) was an awesome waitress.
We can't wait to come back.
My wife Pat & I tonight had wonderful dinners at the Q.
She had the swordfish kabob (large portion) w/ veggies & the cuke salad, while I had the mixed grill (swordfish, shrimp,scallops)cajun style w/ cole slaw & cuke salad. Every bite was goood!
Sean, who opened this restaurant,just a month ago, introduced himself & offered a taste of some BBQ just recently added to the menu. Pulled pork w/ 3 different sauces,another hit.
To answer your question, no I never met Sean b4 tonight, & this was the 1st time,(not the last for sure)that I set foot in his door.Trouble ? What to order next visit!

At the suggestion of my daughter I went for Lunch with my mother last Friday. She had Fried Clams and scallop and I had Fish and Chips... we ordered the onion rings... they were yummy fried just right.

My husband and I went to the Q on Friday night.
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Our waitress was Bree or Brie(not sure of spelling) she surpassed most waitresses we have had any where.
